Principal
5 days’ work week
We are looking for a Principal to helm the daily operations of our centres. A Principal who develops and inspires our teaching team to deliver high quality teaching and learning for our children. A Principal who is a positive culture bearer, and leads in building a nurturing, loving and respectful environment for our educators and children.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Helm the daily operations of the Centre
Mentor and inspire educators to create an optimal and safe environment appropriate for the holistic development and care of the children
Serve as our organization’s culture bearer and positive role model for the staff
Plan, develop and implement the programme, curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment
Continuously improve and refine the children’s learning experiences
Establish sustainable and collaborative partnerships with our community of parents, families, and staff
Manage the centre budget and oversee the efficient and cost-effective use of centre resources
Ensure regulatory compliance
REQUIREMENTS
Diploma in Pre-school Education Leadership (DPE-L) / Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education – Leadership (DECCE-L) / Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Leadership (ADECL)
Diploma in Pre-School Teaching, Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education or other Early Childhood Diploma Qualification(s)
ECDA certified L2 educator
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a professional early childhood setting
Preferably holds a valid first aid certificate recognized by ECDA
Strong knowledge of early childhood curriculum, pedagogy and assessments
